Your first step is to go to the PTO's website at www.uspto.gov. On the home page, click "Trademark." It will take you to the following page:

Choose "Apply for a Trademark Online." That link takes you to this page:
E-TEAS and PrinTEAS Home Page
As you can see, you must choose between e-TEAS and PrinTEAS. If you scroll down the page, you'll find out which versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer to use and how to contact the PTO for help.
